Every guide starts with a real question a homeowner might ask. We research current models, manufacturer documentation, owner experiences, and hands-on setup and testing, then write in plain language a first-time buyer can follow. When we use a technical term, we define it in the same breath.
Hands-on testing
Where a guide makes a recommendation, it is grounded in practical experience with these machines: installing boundary wire, mapping wire-free lawns, running mowers on slopes and wet grass, decoding errors, and handling routine maintenance. We describe the friction as honestly as the benefits.
Fact-checking and accuracy
We check specifications, prices, and safety details against primary sources such as manufacturer manuals and official product pages before publishing. Because models and prices change quickly, we ask readers to confirm current details with the manufacturer before buying.
Independence
No manufacturer pays for coverage, and no brand approves our articles before publication. Our recommendations are based on what serves the reader, not on advertising or affiliate relationships. When a product is weak, we say so.
